The 3rd Gen CoolTwist performance intercooler is an excellent upgrade for any 3rd generation dodge pushing the performance envelope. It features the same high performace core design as the 2nd Gen CoolTwist but features a larger core.

This is not a stock core off of a larger or heavy duty application modified to fit, this is a core designed from the ground up to perform well on your truck. This core features a fin design unique to our high performance intercoolers with a much more aggressive cross cut pattern (see images below) designed to give you much more cooling surface area and to optimize flow capacity. This gives you dramatically improved cooling performance without resorting to using a larger core that requires you to replace tubing and brackets. Don't believe us? Whats all this mean to me you ask, well on our test truck with twin turbos IAT dropped 35% over the stock intercooler. Most trucks will see at LEAST 75 degree drop in intake air temps, and if your over fueled or under turboed the dramatically increased flow will increase fuel economy and drop your EGTs by a considerable amount.
