The Max Micro Tuners provide Superchips proven performance programming in an easy to install hand held Micro Tuner. There is no need for tools, no need to access the ECU. Tuning the vehicle is simple and straight forward via the vehicles diagnostic port. The Ford 1704 Max Micro Tuner by Superchips is of a true plug and play design.

All you have to do is simply connect the MAX Micro Tuner to the diagnostic connector inside your vehicle. The MAX Micro Tuner saves your stock program, identifies the program and then uploads the correct Superchips performance program for your vehicle, to give you more horsepower and more torque.

The TriTune Max MicroTuners allow the end user to custom tailor their desired performance level to the specific driving task at hand. Program the Hi-Performance Tune for some weekend fun and on Monday when it's time to pull that load for work, program in the Towsafe Tune.

All transmission, rev, and speed limiter settings are optimized and preset by Superchips' calibrations. There are 'NO' options for tires size or gear changes. As with other MAX MicroTuners, this unit does have DTC reading capabilities but only on 6.0L Power Stroke applications.

TOW SAFE: +70hp and +150 Ft-lb. torque, towing up to the manufacturer's specified maximum weight limit.
ECONOMY: +120hp and +180 Ft-lb. torque, towing 8,000 lbs or less.
PERFORMANCE: +150hp and +225 Ft-lb torque, towing 6,000 lbs or less.


* The 1704 will program 2003-2005 F250, F350, F450 & F550 Pickups & SUVs with the 6.0L motor.


1706 MAX Micro Tuner 2006 6.0L

TOW SAFE: +59hp and +92 Ft-lb. torque, towing up to the manufacturer's specified maximum weight limit.

ECONOMY: +97hp and +145 Ft-lb. torque, towing 8,000 lbs or less.

PERFORMANCE: +105hp and +160 Ft-lb torque, towing 6,000 lbs or less.
